17 Girls

Based on a true story (sort of). The film makers, sister, start with a true story that happened in Connecticut but decide to transplant the story to their French home town. As a story goes, it was very entertaining. But I’m still frighten by the social responsibility the film makers have. It turns out that the film makers only admit to starting with a true story, but end up fabricating 90% of the story. That’s fine for fiction, but I think many viewers will be mislead to believe that these event actually happened. They show many benefits to teen pregnancy with very few consequences.
